The room block and all business meetings for the 2026 CSG East Annual Meeting, December 13-16, 2026, are at the Sheraton San Juan.

The conference rates for the room block at the Sheraton for:

• Singles/doubles $245 + 11% tax per night
• Triples $275 + 11% tax per night
• Quads $305 + 11% tax per night

IMPORTANT: Please note the following:

• Reservations for the hotel will open the week of April 20 when registration opens. Check back here for the link!
• The address for the Sheraton is 200 Convention Boulevard in San Juan.
• The hotel phone number is (787) 993-3500.
• Check-in is at 4 p.m. Guests arriving before then will be accommodated as guest rooms become available.</li
• Check-out is at 11 a.m.
• Onsite daily parking at the Sheraton is $20.
• There is an early departure penalty of one night.
• A one-night deposit will be taken at the time you make your reservation at the hotel.
• The deposit is applied to your hotel stay upon check-out.
• You may cancel your hotel reservation if necessary. PLEASE NOTE: if you cancel within 7 days of your check-in date you will lose your one-night deposit. Please keep this in mind as you make your plans or need to cancel them.
• IMPORTANT NOTE:
  • The conference rate is good 3 days prior and 3 days after the meeting, based on hotel availability.
  • The conference starts on December 13, and on December 12 for CSG East Executive Committee members.

If you are traveling from the mainland, you will fly to the Luis Muñoz Marin Airport (SJU), which is a 15-minute car ride from the Sheraton. You can easily find a metered taxi at the airport (cash payment is recommended), or use a ride-sharing app. Please go to Discover Puerto Rico’s transportation webpage which has more up to date information including car, bicycle and even wheel-chair rentals, and airport guides. The Sheraton also has a local shuttle that can take you to the heart of Old San Juan. The shuttle schedule and more information about the shuttle can be found in the hotel’s lobby.

The CSG East Annual Meeting is a family-friendly event. Sign your guests up as you register. There are two full days of activities for adult guests, and child guests (aged 6-17)—and children register for FREE! Please check back for the social program activities which will be posted to the website soon.

• The dress-code is business casual for all meetings and receptions, and casual for social program activities. Note: The Council of State Governments advocates the responsible use of alcohol and designated drivers by all participants at CSG functions.
• Plan ahead and make your hotel reservations now!
• Please check your trusted weather information bureau before you leave for Puerto Rico and pack accordingly. There may be outdoor activities!
• Book your own flights.

• Annual Meeting registration and the Sheraton hotel reservations open the week of April 20.
• Early registration rates end September 4.
• Meeting registration cancellations through September 30 receive a 100% refund.
• The hotel room block closes on November 19, please make your reservations before then.
• Meeting registration cancellations between October 1 to December 4 receive a 50% refund. No refunds will be issued after December 4.
• Online registration ends December 4.
• Hotel reservations cancelled 7 days or less from your date of arrival will cause you to lose your 1-night deposit.
