CSG East convened an invitation-only rural policy summit in Portland, Maine on April 4-5: Pathways to Rural Prosperity and Small Town Resilience.

This summit aimed to address multidisciplinary challenges facing rural communities, including population loss, economic development, housing, rural health, and public transit in rural communities.

This summit brought together rural policy experts with state legislators focused on solutions in our region. Attendees were invited based on relevant committee work and legislative sponsorship in recent years and encouraged to network with legislators in peer states during the policy sessions.
