CSG East’s Council on Communities of Color (CCC) presents the latest installment of its ongoing Movement Summit series. This new discussion will be broadcast live on WURD radio in partnership with the 1890 Universities Foundation and the Learn4Life College Access Program.

During this year’s annual National HBCU Week Conference, facilitated by the White House Initiative on HBCUs, CSG East will host a discussion on “The Value of HBCUs in the 21st century: A conversation on 1890 Universities, research and innovation HBCUs for the next generation.” As the nation enters a new phase of uncertainty through the COVID-19 pandemic, rising social tensions, and an intensifying climate crisis, many Historically Black Colleges and Universities, especially 1890 Land Grant HBCUs, are poised to rise to the challenge. What are the advantages and opportunities? How do we tap into them?
