USDA assistance tool for rural communities

We want to make sure that our legislators in the Northeast region are aware of a new tool for your rural constituents affected by the COVID-19 outbreak.

U.S. Department of Agriculture Secretary Sonny Perdue has introduced a COVID-19 Federal Rural Resource Guide that lists resources to provide immediate and long-term assistance to rural communities.

The guide lists resources to support recovery efforts for rural residents, businesses, and communities in:

• technical/training/management
• financial assistance, and
• state and local programs
