Join us this Friday for an expert and practical session exploring the state of voting rights in the United States. Currently there are 253 different bills being introduced in 44 states that to make changes to voting rights. This is a 600 percent increase in the number of voter related bills introduced compared to this time last year. Meanwhile, the Supreme Court will consider various state voting access laws. What effect will this have on the Voting Rights Act of 1965? How do Black, Brown and Indigenous voters respond? Who will be impacted the most by these changes? How do Black, Brown and Indigenous voters navigate these potential changes? Could the John Lewis Voting Rights Advancement Act, which aims to combat racial discrimination in voting, restore and strengthening the protections of the Voting Rights Act? How can policymakers continue to support voting rights?

Registrants will receive a Zoom access link upon registration. Audience members will be able to ask questions by chat. Audience members are encouraged to discuss and share the panel on social media at #VotingRightsThreatReport
