Promoting Career and Technical Education for Students with Disabilities

This webinar will discuss state strategies for maintaining and increasing participation and performance of students with disabilities in career and technical education (CTE), both during and following the COVID-19 pandemic.

The webinar will provide an overview of a brief published by the Center for Advancing Policy on Employment for Youth (CAPE-Youth). In addition, it will feature speakers from the PIPEline to Career Success for Students with Disabilities Project (a partnership between the Delaware Department of Education and the National Alliance for Partnerships in Equity); the Washington State Office of Superintendent of Public Instruction; and the Idaho Division of Career Technical Education.

Speakers will discuss successes and challenges they have encountered in delivering CTE to students with disabilities throughout the pandemic and lessons learned they will continue to apply following the pandemic. Click here to register.
