The CSG EAST Energy and Environment Committee’s informal working group on agriculture and forestry sequestration hosted a virtual conversation with Jad Daley, president and CEO of American Forests, to learn about the U.S. launch of 1t.org. The effort serves as a global multi-stakeholder platform, launched at the World Economic Forum in Davos last January, to catalyze policy and market change for science-informed reforestation, forest restoration and conservation, to help meet climate, biodiversity, and sustainable development targets by 2030.

In the United States, 1t.org aims to mobilize American companies, nonprofits, governments, and individuals to help reach the goal of conserving, restoring, and growing one trillion trees globally by 2030.
