CSG East Names New Director

A MESSAGE FROM CSG EAST INTERIM REGIONAL DIRECTOR WENDELL HANNAFORD

Dear Colleagues:

I am very pleased and excited to announce that the CSG East Executive Committee unanimously confirmed Matthew Lyons selection as the new Regional Director of CSG East.

Matt’s public policy background, work experience at all governmental levels as well as his management experience also made him the unanimous choice of the seven member CSG East Search Committee.

Matt has a passion for public policy and a deep belief in value of public service as evidenced throughout his career. He worked for the American Public Human Services Association (APHSA), a large national, bipartisan organization whose members include top government human services agency executives from all 50 states, along with the District of Columbia and U.S. territories and their staffs. He also has experience working in government at the local, state and federal levels.  This blend of association and governmental experience make him ideally suited for a successful career at CSG.  While Matt currently works as Director of Public Sector Partnerships at Steady IQ, a tech start up,  he is eager to get back into association work.

Matt will be a great colleague as well as the leader we need in the CSG Eastern Office to move us forward in the years to come.

Matt’s start date with CSG will be June 8.  I hope you will join me and the team at CSG East in welcoming him to the CSG family.
